‘Working to support young people into work or training across Birmingham’

This programme is delivered by a consortium of local community organisations to help and support young people back into training or employment.

Are you are aged between 15 to 29 and are currently unemployed or inactive, we can provide support to develop your skills and qualifications to help you progress to employment or further learning.

We offer access to training, qualifications and work experience/placements, as well as voluntary opportunities to bring young people closer to the labour market; we aim to help you present yourself as a perfect candidate for potential employers. Having networked with local employers, we have access to job opportunities; we can also provide support to develop your business plan if you are considering self-employment.

  • qualifications and training
  • confidence building, anxiety or mental health
  • support into a new career
  • help with travel


To be eligible for this support you must be - aged 15 to 29

  • a resident in the West Midlands
  • unemployed or in receipt of benefits (Jobseeker's Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Universal Credit) or inactive
