Partnerships

We could not do great work with out our partners, together we accomplish great things for our local community. Find out more about who supports our activities:

Birmingham Updates is the most engaged local media platform for Birmingham, we provide a weekly dose of mind resilience sessions through our Wellbeing Coach Kam Bola. Check out the videos on our website: Mind Resilience during COVID - 19

East Birmingham Collective is a core of local charities which includes ACP Group; Small Heath Community Forum; and Narthex. This partnership aims to improve lives of people in the east of Birmingham by offering free and impartial advice and advocacy services. There is a particular focus on supporting and empowering family carers to ensure their needs are addressed in a culturally sensitive manner. Language is not a barrier to accessing support with over 10 community languages spoken by staff. Find out more about our Carer's Project

Collectively, we have joined forces to provide support and services that help meet the needs of our local carers. We are funded by Forward Carers and together we are committed to provide high quality services across the 12 wards of East Birmingham. Fore more information click here:

ECB All Stars Cricket managed by England and Wales Cricket Board has been supporting our families to run cricket sessions for children 5 - 8 years, the programme is designed to inspire young people into sports, whilst learning new skills and making new friends. Together we have managed to raise aspirations of young people, providing them free access to the sport through our play scheme. Parents have also had the opportunity to volunteer on to the programme and gain new skills, to increase their opportunity for employment.

Cycling UK has supported us in leading cycle rides for the local community. They have trained local residents as ride leaders, to support others to cycle outdoors and explore Birmingham's cultural and natural landscapes. They have taught over 100 women to learn cycle and help them form long lasting networks sessions through the love of cycling. For more information click here ACP Cycling Hub

Concord Youth Centre are one of our longstanding partner's, and together we have delivered a number of projects including POWER and Happy Healthy Holidays. Together we support young people and their families, to ensure young people have better opportunities, by building a safe and positive environment.

Aging Better and Muath Trust have supported us to run activities for older 50's suffering from isolation. These have included working with organisations delivering activities for over 50, providing them infrastructure support and carrying out an asset resource consultation. We have also delivered a number of activities to encourage those over 50 to keep fit, healthy and make new friends; these included Thai chi, Planting and coffee sessions. For more information on our over 50s programme please click here

Birmingham REP have worked with us to produce a community art project in Sparkbrook called Run the World. Art was used as a platform to tackle life limiting ideologies affecting local women through shared through stories, friendships and their togetherness in the joy of running. Personal trainer and artist Manjeet Kaur worked closely with the women over 12 weeks to collate intimate conversations, these were recorded and presented in an audio tour which took place in the local park of where they ran.

National Trust have been working with us for the last 5 years supporting our Getting Closer to Nature programme. They have provided free community activities to promote nature in urban environments for disadvantaged children and were able to train local volunteers to help sustain activities.
