Chief Operating Officer

Mohammed Shafique has been involved in ACP for the last 20 years, and has contributed in providing ACP a safe space for local people to access help, guidance and provide better opportunities for those experiencing disadvantage. He is very passionate in representing community issues and raising awareness on equality and wider representation for BAME communities living in areas of poverty.

Over the years he has acquired in depth knowledge of Third sector and the understanding of “the working culture” of the statutory sector. The “network of support” of other people has helped him not only undertake the responsibility of representing the local neighbourhood but to be a voice for the Third Sector at city wide networks. He takes great pride in ensuring honesty and integrity in all levels of involvement and engagement. This is achieved by being able to listen and take on board all views and determining a consensus that will ensure positive progression within a partnership.
